Family Photographer, Sutherland Shire

Winter is one of my favourite seasons for family photography.  My two main reasons for this are the start time and the lighting.

In Winter, my family photography sessions can start as early as 3.00pm making it much easier for parents with young children as opposed to 6.00pm or later in the warmer months. Secondly, as the name ‘Golden Hour’ implies, the afternoon light, about  1-1.5 hours before sunset is golden, (sometimes pink!), rich and delicious.

Dan and Bianca’s session was no different. I absolutely love shooting at this location for family or maternity photos. Thanks Bianca and Dan for a wonderful afternoon.
